Adobe AI Agent: Premiere Pro Gets Smart Editing Tools

Adobe is rolling out an AI agent across its Creative Cloud products, including Premiere. This new agent can create a storyboard, perform a first cut, and much more. It was first launched in private beta on Firefly, allowing users to create content with natural language prompts. Now, it's in public beta for products like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere. For Premiere specifically, it handles tasks a human would do in the project panel or timeline. This includes sorting assets, batch renaming clips, identifying interview questions, and assembling a starting point. The AI can also find assets based on user descriptions and learn preferences over time. What's interesting is that Adobe has also made its tools available in OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. This means creative professionals have a new powerful assistant to help bring their visions to life across various platforms.
