Anthropic Mythos 5 AI Re-release for US Critical Infra

The US government has permitted Anthropic to re-release its Mythos 5 AI model to a select group of customers and partners. This follows a previous restriction due to national security concerns. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick informed the company that trusted users can now access the model again. Anthropic confirmed that its strongest cybersecurity model can be redeployed to US organizations that operate and defend critical infrastructure. This restoration is expected to include around 100 organizations, such as government agencies and private companies. The Mythos 5 model helps identify cyber vulnerabilities and supports defensive cybersecurity operations. Two weeks ago, access to Mythos 5 and its consumer model, Fable 5, was suspended over national security threats. This news comes as discussions continue for restoring access to Fable 5.
