Anthropic's CFO Eyes $30B Funding, $900B Valuation

Anthropic's CFO, Krishna Rao, is aiming for a $30 billion funding round and a $900 billion valuation for the company. This valuation would top OpenAI's earlier this year. The company's revenue jumped from $9 billion to $45 billion in just a few months, driven by demand for its AI system, Claude. To support its growth, Anthropic partnered with SpaceX for access to 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs at the Colossus 1 data center. They also have deals with Amazon and Google. Anthropic launched a $1.5 billion AI services company with Blackstone to bring Claude into healthcare and real estate. While facing legal challenges over US AI safety rules, the company is expanding globally, opening a new office in Bengaluru, India. This aggressive strategy shows Anthropic's significant ambition in the AI sector.
