Assort Health has secured $120 million in Series C funding, bringing its total funding to $222 million. This latest round values the company at $1.2 billion. The company, launched in November 2023, develops voice AI agents for medical practices. These agents handle tasks like appointment scheduling, patient intake, medicine refills, and real-time insurance eligibility. Assort Health reports its revenue grew twentyfold over 15 months. What's interesting is their proprietary AI model, Synapse, which learns from 190 million patient interactions and 62,000 care protocols. This allows their AI agents to improve with every interaction, leading to faster deployment and higher automation rates. The company aims to create a wider voice AI platform offering a personalized, "concierge-style" experience, moving towards a healthcare system that "remembers" patient information. This innovation could significantly streamline patient communication and administrative tasks in healthcare.
