Duck Creek Launches Agentic AI for Insurance

Duck Creek has launched a new insurance-native Agentic AI Platform. This platform helps insurers use and manage AI agents throughout the insurance process. The company also introduced two new applications: Agentic Underwriting Workbench and Agentic First Notice of Loss. These are designed to make property and casualty workflows faster and more accurate. Hardeep Gulati, Duck Creek's CEO, states that Agentic AI will change how insurance operates. It aims to move carriers from manual tasks to automated decision-making. The platform integrates core insurance data and AI reasoning into workflows. It allows AI agents to work within existing systems, using logic to deliver compliant results. The platform features Agentic Intelligence, Agentic Orchestration, and AI Assurance for governance and guardrails. It also includes an AI Gateway for integration and native connections with Duck Creek's core systems. The new applications automate submission intake and enhance claims processing. This could lead to improved risk selection and faster claims handling.
