PancakeSwap AI Agent for ERC-8183 Settlements on BNB

PancakeSwap has open-sourced an AI agent for ERC-8183 settlements on BNB Agent Studio. This agent handles atomic transactions with slippage controls, routing exclusively through PancakeSwap's aggregation layer. PancakeSwap deployed this reference AI agent for ERC-8183 order and intent settlement through BNB Chain’s newly launched Agent Studio platform. BNB Agent Studio went live on July 1, 2026, with PancakeSwap as an early integration. The ERC-8183 standard acts as an instruction layer for on-chain AI agents. When a user submits a swap intent, the agent routes it through PancakeSwap’s aggregation layer and delivers tokens to the client’s wallet. The implementation includes execution controls like slippage limits and atomic transaction requirements. Execution deadlines are capped at five minutes. The agent also uses a predefined token safelist. Stablecoins fund the agent’s operating costs through the x402 payment process. All swap routing happens exclusively through PancakeSwap’s aggregation layer for consistent and auditable execution. BNB Agent Studio, built on AWS Bedrock, allows AI agents to move from prompt to production quickly. On-chain identity management uses ERC-8004. The BNBAgent SDK reached testnet in March 2026 and mainnet by May 2026. The July 1 Agent Studio launch built on this foundation, offering automated wallet provisioning and accepting single-prompt inputs. This development provides a production-ready template for developers to manage execution risk and route trades.
