Agnes-2.5-Flash: Free, Uncapped AI Agentic Coding Access

Agnes AI has launched Agnes-2.5-Flash, a new text model designed for coding and agentic tasks, now available with free, uncapped access. This model aims to remove the cost constraints often associated with agentic coding. What's interesting is that Agnes-2.5-Flash is a direct successor to Agnes-2.0-Flash, which already has over 585,000 users. It offers improvements in generating code across multiple files, holding project context, calling tools, and recovering from unexpected steps in multi-turn tasks. The underlying Agnes Harness has also been upgraded for more reliable multi-step task execution. Later this month, Agnes AI will also release Agnes-2.5-Pro, a larger model for more complex and long-running agent work. The company also introduced Agnes Code, a desktop workspace for developers to use the new model directly within their projects. The bottom line is this could fundamentally change how developers build software by making advanced coding agents more accessible and affordable.
