AI's 72-Hour Whirlwind: New Models, Features & More

The last three days have seen a nonstop parade of new AI products, features, and model releases from leading AI labs. New names like "Sol" and "Terra" are emerging, alongside new features for image creation and voice assistants. Microsoft even added a "poetry pharmacy." There were also significant personnel changes, including the departure of OpenAI's chief futurist and the stepping down of OpenAI's CEO of applications. Behind the scenes, Perplexity is reportedly working on a new coding tool called "Teammate" to compete with Anthropic and OpenAI.
