MSPs Outpace In-House Teams in AI Security Adoption

Managed service providers are leading in the adoption and trust of artificial intelligence for cybersecurity. This finding comes from a new Cynet report. Both MSPs and in-house teams see AI-powered phishing and social engineering as their biggest threats. What's interesting is MSPs report using AI tools in 60% of their security functions. This is significantly more than the 44% reported by in-house teams. In-house teams also experienced a higher rate of security incidents, at 60%, compared to just 22% for MSP clients. As a result, 59% of in-house teams plan to involve MSPs in deploying new AI-driven cybersecurity. This suggests a growing reliance on MSPs as cyberattacks become more automated.
